Black and white photography or "Monochrome" photography is one of the most enjoyable art forms to appreciate and admire. The essence of what makes Black and White Photography such a huge art form lies within the raw beauty of the subject or subjects. Monochrome images have no color, everything lies between the hues of Black and White represented by different shades of grey. The artistry of black and white is the lack of distraction or frivolous features that most color images have to offer. With Monochromatic imagery the story must be told with lighting and composition ONLY. This collection features some great pieces found by great artists all over the world. I trust you will enjoy. Muuuah! Belladonna Del Rio I started off this collection using a piece from photographic artist Alberti. It was a hard decision to use this image only because I wasn't 100% positive this was a black and white. A part of me strongly believes that this image probably has some SEPIA tones in it. Yet, the look on this model's face was too powerful for me to ignore.

I really enjoyed this piece; mostly because of the soft, and sensual capture by artist Chris A. It sincerely appears like she is just home lounging around in all her beauty and alluring feminine essence.

The use of natural light on this image is divine. The subject appears to be engaged with something outside of the window while demurely sipping on some coffee topless. As "fantasy" as the story line appears to be, doesn't it still appear to be at lease possible which means that it is plausible.

This dark and sensual black and white photography image featuring super model Emily Ratajkowski (below) is very edgy with its deliberate darkness. I love how even from within the shadows the light spills on Emily's most seductive features; such as her eyes and lips to draw you into her mysterious web of seduction.

SHAME ON YOU if this image turns you on half as much as it turns me on. Why should you and I be ashamed for being turned on by this image? Well that's easy enough to explain. We should be ashamed because what turns us both on are the elements of voyeurism in the brilliant way the artist Jordi Morgades captured this image. The subject is so absolutely disconnected from both us as the viewer and the world around her, that it feels like we are watching someone doing something as if they are all alone in their thoughts and feelings. It makes her look absolutely vulnerable and unaware of our presence which turns us on.

This is another one of my faves(below) because of the quirkiness of the model's pose and especially her facial expression. The pout lips while facing the camera appears as if she turned around and you and I surprised her. The soft pose of her upper torso, shoulders, and jeans further compliment the composition of this story line.
